As part of our expansion, we are looking for an experienced Murex Developer (Contract) to support critical projects in risk management, trading, and financial systems.Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Murex Developer with expertise in Murex front-to-back development, risk management, and trade lifecycle processes. This is a contract-based role offering flexibility while working on high-impact projects. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business analysts, traders, risk teams, and IT specialists to deliver scalable and efficient Murex solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesMurex Development & Customization: Design, develop, and enhance Murex modules based on business requirements.Trade Lifecycle & Risk Management: Implement and optimize Murex functionalities across trade capture, risk calculations, and reporting.Integration & API Development: Develop APIs and integrate Murex with other trading and risk management systems.Performance Optimization: Improve system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize processes.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with traders, risk managers, and IT teams to deliver tailored solutions.Upgrades & Enhancements: Support Murex version upgrades and implement new features.Qualifications & Skills5+ years of experience in Murex development within a banking or financial institution.Strong expertise in Murex FO, BO, and Risk modules.Experience in Murex MxML (XML), Datamart, Market Risk, and VaR calculations.Hands-on experience in trade lifecycle management, market data, and curve building.Proficiency in Unix/Linux, SQL, and scripting languages (Python, Shell, or Perl).Experience integrating Murex with external trading systems and APIs.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills and experience working with global teams.Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience in Murex 3.1 upgrades and migrations.Exposure to cloud-based Murex implementations (AWS, Azure, GCP).Knowledge of financial products such as FX, Equities, Commodities, and Fixed Income.Contract DetailsContract-based opportunity with potential extensions.Flexible remote work options (UK, Spain, or US).Competitive daily/hourly rate based on experience.Opportunity to work with global financial institutions on cutting-edge projects.How to ApplyIf you are an experienced Murex Developer looking for a contractual opportunity, we’d love to hear from you!
