About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Associate to play a key role in implementing and managing NetSuite across our finance department. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting or finance, along with specific and high-level experience using NetSuite Financial, Revenue Management, and Billing modules. The company is one of the few companies that has been accepted in to the Canary Islands Special Economic Zone (ZEC Canarias) as a beacon of existing and future technology efforts.Key Responsibilities:NetSuite Implementation Support:- Assist in the setup, configuration, and implementation of NetSuite Financial, Revenue Management, and Billing modules.- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective system configurations and workflows.- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure NetSuite is aligned with the company’s financial and accounting processes.System Configuration & Maintenance:- Configure and maintain key modules within NetSuite (Financial, Revenue Management, Billing), ensuring they are optimized for efficiency.- Ensure the proper integration of NetSuite with other systems and processes across the organization.Financial Data Analysis & Reporting:- Generate reports and analyze financial data within NetSuite to provide actionable insights and support decision-making.- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements using NetSuite’s tools.- Identify system improvements that can enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting.Training and Support:- Provide training and ongoing support to users on how to effectively use NetSuite within their daily tasks.- Address any user questions or challenges related to the NetSuite system, specifically in financial modules.Billing & Revenue Recognition:- Oversee the proper configuration and usage of the NetSuite Billing module to ensure accurate invoicing and billing processes.- Ensure NetSuite’s Revenue Management module is correctly configured for proper revenue recognition based on company policies and accounting standards.Process Improvement:- Continuously review and improve financial workflows within NetSuite to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and optimize performance.- Work with the accounting team to identify automation opportunities and assist in system upgrades.Qualifications:Education:- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.Experience:- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a finance/accounting role, with at least 2-3 years of specific and high-level experience in using or implementing or supporting NetSuite Financial, Revenue Management, and Billing modules.- Experience working within a technology focused company preferably B2B SaaS or genera software- In-depth understanding of financial reporting, revenue recognition, and billing processes.- Strong experience with NetSuite configuration and customization.Technical Skills:- Proficient in NetSuite (Financials, Revenue Management, Billing) with a focus on system implementation and process optimization.- Familiarity with accounting software and financial reporting tools.Knowledge & Skills:- Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Stan(IFRS) and financial accounting processes.- Ability to translate financial processes and business needs into technical system requirements.- Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues in the system.Communication & Collaboration:- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish- Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment, supporting team members and training users on NetSuite.Preferred Qualifications:- NetSuite certification (e.G., NetSuite Certified ERP Consultant) is a plus.- Experience with other financial management systems or ERP platforms is a bonus.- Familiarity with multi-currency and multi-subsidiary NetSuite configurations is a plus.What’s in it for you:- Relocation Support: We offer relocation support for Candidates who wish to relocation to the Canary Islands- Competitive Salary: Attractive compensation package commensurate with experience and skills.- Remote Work: We offer flexible working hours and location options- Professional Growth: Opportunities for career advancement and personal development in a fast-growing company.- Inclusive Culture: Be part of a diverse and collaborative team committed to innovation and excellence.- Collaborative and Supportive Team: Working with team members that understands the importance of the work you’ll be doing
