JOB OVERVIEWThe Data Governance Manager is responsible for ensuring the quality, integrity, reliability, and consistency of the data within the company’s data warehouse. This critical role supports data-driven decision-making by ensuring that information is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with corporate and regulatory standards.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and implement data governance strategies, policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, homogeneity, completeness, and consistency across the organization.Establish a robust data governance framework by identifying and collaborating with data owners across the organization, ensuring the implementation of a comprehensive data governance model that aligns with the strategic objectives.Define and implement data quality metrics, processes, and tools to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.Conduct regular data checks to ensure compliance with business requirements and generate reports on data quality, highlighting critical improvement areas.Optimize data usability, availability and efficiency within Cellnex.Lead and coordinate data cleansing initiatives, implementing tools and automations to remove duplicates, correct errors, and standardize formats efficiently.In collaboration with Corporate Legal and Global Security, ensure compliance with data privacy and protection regulations by implementing appropriate safeguards and protocols.Establish data lifecycle management processes, including data archival and deletion strategies.Collaborate in data migration projects, ensuring data accuracy and completeness during transitions between platforms or environments.Collaborate with different IT teams to implement effective and innovative data architecture and infrastructureCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide data-driven solutions.Train staff on best practices for data management, analysis, and utilization as well as lead the development of data analytics capabilities to support data-driven decision making.CANDIDATE PROFILEEducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field.Master's degree preferred.Certifications in data management or related fields (e.G., Certified Data Management Professional, Certified Information Privacy Professional) are valued.Relevant Experience:7+ years of experience in data management, governance, or related fields, working within an international companyExperience in implementing data governance frameworks in multinational or complex organizations will be valued.Strong knowledge of international data privacy and protection laws (e.G., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).Strong understanding of data governance principles, data privacy regulations, and industry best practices.Expertise in data management tools, platforms, and governance technologies.Familiarity with data query languages such as SQL.Skills in data profiling and data quality tools (e.G., Alteryx, Talend Data Quality, Dataiku).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of an organization.LanguagesEnglish - must have (Advanced)Spanish - must have (Advanced)Software ToolsMicrosoft Office Tools - must have (Advanced)Data Management Systems - valuable (Advanced)Data Visualization Tools - valuable (Advanced)----------------------------------------------------------------------------------ABOUT USBe part of a large and growing technology company that is redefining the future of telecoms.We are the European leader in telecommunications infrastructure and technological innovation, a company with strong geographic expansion and ambitious plans for sustainable global growth.We help people connect and interact with the world, working with passion, honesty and integrity.
