Job Description For a project with our client, one of Spain’s leading banks, we are looking for a Backend Developer to join our dynamic technology team.brWe seek a highly motivated professional with expertise in Spark, Scala, and Azure Databricks, along with knowledge of PL/SQL.brThe ideal candidate will contribute to the development and optimization of robust banking solutions within a microservices architecture.brWhat would you be doing? Design and implement scalable backend services using Spark and Scala.brDevelop and optimize Azure Databricks solutions to support data-driven applications.brWork on PL/SQL development, ensuring efficient database interactions.brParticipate in end-to-end software delivery, including design, development, unit testing, deployments, and UAT support.brEnsure code security and quality using tools such as SonarQube and Fortify, and proactively resolve any detected vulnerabilities.brWrite and maintain unit and integration tests using JUnit, Jasmine, or Karma.brCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions within a microservices ecosystem.brActively participate in Agile development processes (Scrum or Kanban) to ensure iterative delivery and continuous improvement.brContribute to the design and documentation of technical solutions.brQualifications What are we looking for? 2+ years of experience as a backend developer working with Spark.br2+ years of experience developing backend solutions with Scala.br2+ years of experience in software delivery, covering design, development, testing, deployments, and UAT support.brAdvanced knowledge of Azure Databricks.brStrong experience with PL/SQL for database interactions.brExperience using SonarQube and/or Fortify for security analysis and code quality.brHands-on experience in writing and executing unit and integration tests (JUnit, Jasmine, Karma).brExperience working within Agile frameworks (Scrum or Kanban).brAdditional Information What do we offer you?
