The role of the Retail Planning & Performance Senior Analyst is to support the Manager to deliver reliable business insights by providing the Leadership team with recurring and ad-hoc data analysis and reports.This candidate should be familiar with Retail sales organization, initiatives and data, to be able to both report performance in a structured manner as well as develop analytical models to facilitate decision making.To do so, the P&P Senior Analyst will work hand in hand with different stakeholders (both within the P&P team as well as outside) to ensure general delivery.Main responsibilities- Act as a sparring partner for the Retail P&P Manager and Retail Senior Management- Establish and own accurate and robust reporting processes to track performance from a Retail perspective and throughout the different management levels- Lead specific projects or initiatives that impact directly the Retail sales teams, by supporting or taking ownership of the full project life cycle from conceptual work to implementation and tracking- Lead or participate in the creation of compelling presentations to communicate progress, enhance discussions and facilitate decision-making process; make recommendations inthe appropriate forums- Work together with regional Retail sales teams to analyze and understand performance related to the different initiatives, and participate in the development related action plans moving forward- Conduct detailed analysis when needed, often involving large amounts of data and/or feedback from regional teams- Assist or develop analytical models to assist the strategic and tactical decision-making processes related to Retail incentives, sizing, organization, etc.- Establish trust and collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholders, develop a strong network of contacts throughout the business and gain the support of key players- Leverage technology (Tableau, Salesforce) to drive automation and consistency when it comes to data related to specific initiatives he is managingKey interactions- Rest of Planning & Performance team- Retail Team- Other teams within Commercial Enablement Hub (Distribution, Commercial Development)- Sales Center of Excellence- Data Analytics team (BI)- Other teams such as HR or ProductCandidate profile- Excellent analytical and numerical skills; able to interpret, summarize and present complex data sets from multiple sources clearly and succinctly; strong attention to detail- Strong presentation and communication skills (verbal and written); able to interpret, summarize and present data and progress clearly and succinctly; able to influence business partner’s decisions- Methodical and organized mindset- Results-oriented, dynamic individual with hands-on mentality and proactive attitude, able to take initiative to propose and lead individual pieces of work or solve problems with minimal supervision- Strong drive, capacity to push and make things happen while engaging with relevant key stakeholders- Team spirit and attitude, comfortable working in multiple initiatives simultaneously- Ability to build strong working relationships, create networks and influence; proactive in engaging with the business- Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills- Fluent in English, both written and spoken- SQL skills are highly valued (not required)- Experience with data analysis and modelling software (Tableau) is valued (not required)- Experience in the accommodation intermediation business is valued (not required)
