You’ll work alongside young and proactive teammates.You will deliver a winning proposal, with a defined scope, accurate QCDP commitments, in a timely manner and within the defined tender budget. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Human Resources, Legal, Finance and Quality), support the Project Manager in the preparation of the First Financial Project Review (FPR0) and the closure of any open actions assigned to bid management, following the TTM and the first project execution gate and much more.Responsibilities:Co-ordinate internal activities to identify and understand Customer's needsPromote the Company and its productCo-ordinate internal activities to influence Customer SpecificationEnsure compliance with applicable Alstom rules & instructionsWork in close relationship with Tender Leader and the full tender team including Sub-System bid managersDetermine the complexity of the tender based on reliable information using criticality matrixBuild in liaison with the Tender Leader the schedule to prepare the offerPrepare & Issue the Instructions for Quotations (IFQ)Support Tender Leader with Partners (e.G. negotiation, T&Cs, preparation of joint offer)Assist the Tender Leader to perform Win No Go, Tender Review Meeting (TRM), Tender Transfer Meeting (TTM), Win Loss Analysis (WLA) and consolidation of inputs from Support functionsDefine the bid operational strategyAnalyze in detail the request for proposal (RFP) and define the bid operational strategy taking into account the commercial strategy defined together with the Tender Leader and PlatformPropose the Tender Project Organization and Work Breakdown Structure and have it validatedManage QCD optimization (in liaison with Bid Costing Manager if any) and obtain clear commitments from different actorsIdentify, analyze and evaluate QCD gaps & manage the QCD reviewCheck, challenge and properly consolidate documented commitmentsOrganize risks reviews and ensure the elaboration of mitigation planPrepare and maintain updated risk & savings registersElaborate the documentation necessary to submit to CustomerPrepare the technical description of offered solutionMake the technical clause by clause and/or list of derogationsPrepare the project master scheduleElaborate the price list and bill of quantities (if any) in line with Tender Leader and Finance Tender Manager instructionsPrepare administrative documentation upon delegation by Tender LeaderKeep records of all documentation produced during tender preparation (RFP, Q&A, Presentations, letters, contract …) and ensure traceability of documentation versions up to contract signatureVerify feasibility of evolutions requested versus the offered and approved referenceUpdate QCD data and obtain revised QCD commitments from different units, validate QCD commitment for each release of the tenderReview of the final contract documents before contract signatureContribute to REX through the Win-Loss Analysis in liaison with Tender Leader and Market Pricing & StrategySupport the Project Manager in the preparation of the first financial project review (FPR0) and the first project gate, with the objective to ensure a smooth transfer from bid to Project.Performance measurements: (On Time Delivery (OTD), QCD, Sales, Orders, Gross margin, etc.)Provide documents in time in compliance with the tender requirementsGap between Tender Review Meeting (TRM) and Project Review (FPR0)Compliance with Tender cost budgetAll about you:Academic background: University degree in Engineering or related studies.2 years of experience in similar positions.French is a plusThings you’ll enjoyEnjoy stability, challenges and a long-term career free from boring daily routinesWork with new security standards for services.Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleaguesContribute to innovative projectsUtilise our cooperative working environmentSteer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countriesBenefit from our investment in your development, through award-winning learningBenefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverageYou don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
