We are currently seeking an exceptional individual to join our IT department as the IT Application Owner - Finance Applications, taking a lead role in managing and optimizing our suite of financial tools.Your ResponsibilitiesFinance Application Management: Oversee the end-to-end management of finance applications, with a primary focus on APOC (Accounts Payables on Cloud). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously enhance finance applications based on business needs. Ensure the stability, performance, and security of finance applications, proactively addressing potential risks.User Support & Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support to end-users, addressing issues and ensuring a positive user experience. Troubleshoot interface issues and SAP ERP-related problems, ensuring minimal disruption to financial operations. Work closely with other IT teams to diagnose and resolve infrastructure, security, and connectivity issues related to finance applications.SAP ERP & Technical Troubleshooting: Possess strong knowledge of the IDoc solution (SAP ECC) and troubleshoot IDoc-related issues. Possess knowledge of APIs for the interface with SAP S4HANA. Address CPI-related issues and ensure seamless data flow between integrated systems. Write clear and concise technical specifications for enhancements and issue resolutions.Strategic Planning & Process Optimization: Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for finance applications, aligning with the company's overall business strategy. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the Accounts Payables domain and other finance-related operations. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and goals and align the application(s) accordingly.Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors, including contract negotiation and performance evaluation. Monitor vendor service levels and adherence to contractual agreements. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to bridge communication gaps.Collaboration & Integration: Work closely with IT, finance, and other relevant departments to integrate finance applications with other existing systems. Ensure effective communication between technical and business teams to optimize application usage and performance.Your BackgroundBachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar position.Proven experience as an Application Owner or similar role, with a strong focus on finance applications.Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.Technical proficiency in finance-related software, cloud-based solutions, and SAP.Experience with troubleshooting interfaces, application performance, and IT infrastructure.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.Understanding of security, compliance, and risk management within finance applications.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.Ability to manage multiple demands on time, working with cross-functional, virtual, and international teams.A collaborative, solution-oriented, and customer service-focused approach.A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and a hands-on mentality.Proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential challenges.Fluency in English, German is an asset.We look forward to receiving your application.
