The incumbent will be responsible for: Develop and implement sustainable sourcing strategies that align with company goals. Collaborate with suppliers to promote sustainable production practices and enhance supply chain sustainability. Lead projects focused on soil regeneration, regenerative agriculture, and nature-based solutions. Conduct environmental impact assessments and develop appropriate mitigation strategies. Identify and secure funding opportunities for sustainability initiatives. Work closely with internal teams, especially the procurement team, and external partners to drive sustainability initiatives. Monitor and report on sustainability metrics and progress toward goals, ensuring alignment with company targets. Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices in sustainable sourcing. Minimum of 3 years of experience in sustainable sourcing or a related role. Strong knowledge of sustainable agriculture practices, agronomy, and environmental impact assessment. Experience in project management, with excellent organizational skills. Familiarity with funding opportunities and grant applications. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Proactive and innovative mindset with a passion for sustainability. Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
