We’re currently seeking a highly skilled Group Security Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft technologies join our international client. They play a pivotal role in safeguarding digital infrastructure for a range of diverse organisations in a variety of industries. The Role: As a Group Security Engineer, you’ll be responsible for securing the core of internal and external digital operations.Working closely with clients and collaborating with the security team, you'll consult on designing custom security solutions tailored to each client’s needs. Your role will ensure seamless implementation and operational security, while providing ongoing support and expertise. Key Responsibilities:Design & Implementation: Develop and deliver comprehensive security solutions using Windows, Linux, and Cloud systems.Security Architecture: Review and refine security architectures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices, regulatory standards, and consulting with the head architect to produce the best systems. Risk Management: Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement risk mitigation strategies.Policy Development: Establish and enforce data and application security policies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.Incident Response: Act as a point of escalation and collaborate with the SOC and operational teams to manage incident detection, investigation, and recovery.Cross-team Collaboration: Work closely with development, business, and operational teams to integrate security across projects and communicate concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. What We’re Looking For:Experience: Proven experience as a technical Security environment or similar.Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with Microsoft security systems, Linux administration and cloud hosting such as AzureCertifications: Desirable certifications include CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, Identity Fundamentals (SC-100).Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Security Knowledge: In-depth understanding of network and endpoint security, IAM, and security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).Communication: Ability to confidently speak the German, Spanish, or Dutch (dependent on the location in which you'll be based) and with colleagues that are based remotely/abroad.
