At Capitole Consulting, we keep growing, and we want you to be part of the family!We are looking for a Cloud Operations Engineer to join our team!Preferred experience:Experienced with infrastructure as code and deployment automation.Strong experience with writing infrastructure as code with any of CDK, Terraform, and or CloudFormation (or other equivalent).Strong experience with automated deployment tooling with any of AWS Code Pipeline/Build (etc), Azure DevOps, and or GitLabCi (or other equivalent).Very good understanding of multiple cloud services in AWS and or Azure.Experience with design of cloud solutions in AWS and or Azure.Reasonable familiarity with servers operating systems, networking, data stores, databases, and identity access management.Required technical skills :Proven experience in cloud computing (Microsoft Azure, AWS)Proven experience in cloud networking automationTerraform Infrastructure as code automationExperience with Azure networking tools (V-WAN, VNET, BGP, etc.)Proven understanding of DevSecOps concepts, and has implemented or working knowledge of using those skills in an already existing frameworkStrong passion for end-to-end DevOps automation via CI/CD pipelines to deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and usage of tools (e.G., ADO, GitHub/Actions, Jenkins, or equivalents).Proven ability to manage infrastructure environments, configurations and workflows via self-service automationProficiency in scripting languages: e.G. Python, Perl, Ruby, PowerShell, YAML, KQL, otherProficiency in waterfall and Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc. delivery methodologiesKnowledge and experience in testing automation harnesses and frameworksUnderstanding and ability to ensure operational stability and enforcement of security controls via Policy-as-Code and IaC automation.Interpersonal skills:Organized, quality-oriented and able to manage time and priorities.Well able to communicate clearly and concisely in the written and spoken word (in fluent English).A clear-thinking problem solver, who is comfortable making decisions.Courageous and action-oriented – someone who steps forward and gets ‘stuck in’.Flexible, creative and comfortable with change. ·Enthusiastic about learning and ambitious.
